Tony Coash

I’ve spent my career helping people and organizations tell their stories with clarity, creativity, and heart. Since founding Coash Video Productions in Rye, New York back in 1987, I’ve had the privilege of producing thousands of media campaigns for clients across every industry you can imagine — from finance and energy to healthcare, education, agri-business and the arts.

Over those years, I’ve learned that great communication isn’t just about slick visuals — it’s about trust, collaboration, and truly understanding what matters to people. Whether directing a corporate video, building a fundraising campaign, or mentoring a production team, I love finding that emotional thread that connects an audience to an idea.

I thrive in dynamic environments where I lead teams of diverse individuals, multitask in high-stakes situations, and creatively solve problems. As a freelance worker, I am always seeking new opportunities and meeting interesting people. I am driven by a desire for personal growth and love learning while inspiring others to progress.

Before launching my company, I managed production teams and TV studios at UA Columbia Cablevision, producing everything from news and sports to community talk shows. Those early years taught me how to lead crews, solve problems fast, and deliver under pressure — skills that still drive my work today.

I believe storytelling has the power to build bridges — between teams, communities, and ideas. That belief has shaped every project I’ve taken on, from corporate messaging to heartfelt nonprofit campaigns. I’m drawn to work that challenges me to listen deeply, translate vision into motion, and leave people feeling inspired or moved to act.

Looking ahead, I’m excited by how technology continues to reshape the creative process. I see tools like AI and digital video platforms not as replacements for human creativity, but as amplifiers for it — new ways to express timeless values of connection, purpose, and authenticity. And at the end of the day, that’s what keeps me going: the joy of crafting stories that feel real, relevant, and lasting.
